Here’s the P51 and P38 Coop Missions video in Vimeo:

Ripbud and I flew Coop missions last night and had a great time. I tell ya, IR Tracker is the way to go…. Take a look at a few videos:
Here’s a tip to watch these in a Higher Res:
Add this “&fmt=18″ without the quotes, to the URL in the address bar in Youtube. You gotta go to the Youtube site to do this. It should look something like this:

Anyways, here the videos
This is a little off topic, but I was looking aka window shopping for a pc. I want to dell, and as usual I entered the the configurator from different areas.
I actually went to the site about 10 different ways - most came out very expensive - these were the cheapest and best configurations I came out with.
XPS420 Configuration 1 & 2
Of the XPS 420 configurations I came out with had the same price but one with an additional tv cable card and 10n1 card reader as well as a different audio card which at least sounds better than the integrated generic one (around $200 or more of extras for the same price?).
The XPS630 had a lack of digital cable support, shared the same config as XPS420 configuration (1) but was $125 more.
XPS420(1)= $1,374 | XPS420(2)= $1,374 | XPS 630= $1,499 |

Seems to me that this is wrong - why should I have to price and compare at the same shop? One would expect that you should be pricing different company offerings not offerings within the same site for identical specs.
Anyway, just for fun I went to HP. The interesting thing in this case is I didn’t even try to do it from different angles - I went for the most expensive which was far lower than Dells starting price - and then tried to create the same config as the XPS420(1) - I ended up with a faster CPU (I couldn’t get the slower Q9300) a sound card and the Nvida card which was a $200 dollar upgade if you wanted it for the Dell XPS420. It also defaulted with the 15n1 card reader.
The best part is that it came out $94 dollars cheaper with what would have been a $100 cheap upgrade. So you’re actually getting a faster CPU for $194 dollars less.

Oh well, that was some fun window shopping… Now if Battle of Britain was out I might be purchasing today. Until than I guess I’ll continue to shop around - but DELL has really turned me off on having to price shop within their own products.

Ripbud and I met some cool dudes at the old field in Irvine and one of them had a Phase 3 F-16. Watching him fly was like watching a real F-16 in an airshow. We were so inspired that…. I…… had to get one. The model is super light and has a great thrust to weight ratio. The pictures above are of my finished F-16. I painted it in a pseudo Navy scheme using old decals from my , also dead F-18..RIP.. there’s my callsign again.. You can get the jet at Hobby People

John’s Airshow:
Here’s the video of the maiden flight of the A7 Corsair. This is also a video of the last flight of the F-18. I lost a wing on the F-18 doing High G turns. Needless to say, the F-18 can’t fly with a wing missing soooo…. Need we say more?? I know if we had video of the crash, I’m sure Ripbud would have posted it already… What a Pal !!!

Finally able to publish something after going through Ripbud’s High Security Clearance to log in. lol.. Okay, see that A7? Yes, yes, that’s my arm. And Yes, yes, that’s my jet. Not a bad price and it comes with a 55 MM edf and Inrunner motor. I actually used a 70 MM EDF with an underpowered Outrunner motor from Airpower salvaged from my, now defunct F-14.. RIP..wait..that’s my callsign.. In any case. Check out the website I bought the jet from. Only took three days to get here from China. Got it from RC-Castle. I would provide the site if I can figure out how to link it. Noob
Figured it out. Here’s the link: RC Castle

Another interesting plane from Nitroplanes. This one take a cue from Great Planes and gives us the PBY Catalina but in a foam. It also has everything included at only ninety nine bucks. There is no doubt that PBY lovers will be picking this up and repainting.
They seemed to be sold out already so you may want to hop over to the forums for impressions…
